  • Designing and improving recipes 

  • Measure and combine ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cookies, cakes, etc.

2022- Present 

Copain, Pastry Chef 

  • Operate and manage the pastry section of the kitchen while working with the other chefs 

  • Prepare for the retail store, our other companies, and our morning bake. Prepare things such as Hand pies, Banana pudding, muffins, cookies, sandwiches, and other items as needed. That gets picked up at a certain time.  

  • Integrial team member who helped train and coach peers while our company grew from 10 locations to 26, including supplying pastries to wholesale customers

          Tiarah Hayes, Born and raised in Fayetteville NC.  I started working in the kitchen at the age of eleven helping my grandmother from sun up to sun down. From that point, I knew I wanted to stay in the kitchen and become a chef.  From watching TV series such as cake boss, cupcake wars, and even youtube. I knew baking was something I wanted to do. I started to teach myself certain things and from there I took some courses that allowed me to received many certificates in different areas. 

             I graduated from 71st High school where I received one of Many scholarships to Johnson & Wales University.  During college, I decided to get my LLC to further my business. I received my associate's degree in Baking & Pastry Arts and my Bachelor's degree in Food service management technology.

          I am currently a pastry chef at a bakery and still managing my own business till this day. The best part  of my job  seeing my customers reaction to the finished product which puts a smile on my face.
